    Getting Started

Follow these steps from account registration to displaying the audio player on your pages.

    Overview

PUBVOICE automatically converts web articles into high-quality audio and displays a player on your site. Setup involves four simple steps: register and verify your domain, connect your RSS feed, let AI generate scripts and audio, and install the player with a single script tag.

    1. Sign Up→2. Verify Domain→3. Register RSS→4. Set Prompt→5. Generate Audio→6. Install SDK→Done

    Prerequisites

    • Domain ownership of the target content source — you must be able to place a meta tag inside the <head> element
    • RSS feed — prepare an RSS 2.0 feed to pull your article list (Atom is also supported)
    Step 1
    Account Registration & Setup
Enter your domain and billing name during onboarding to register your content source.
    • Create a free account and the onboarding wizard will guide you through setup.
    • Enter the domain of the website you want to audio-enable (e.g. example.com).
    • Enter the billing name (company or individual) to complete registration.
    • After registration, you'll proceed to domain ownership verification.
    Step 2
    Domain Verification
Place a meta tag inside the <head> of your website to verify ownership.
    • Copy the meta tag shown in the management console.
    • Paste it into the <head> of your website's HTML.
    • Click "Verify" to validate ownership (up to 5 attempts per hour).
    • After verification, we review your site. Approval typically takes 1–3 business days.
    Step 3
    Register RSS Feed
Once an RSS feed is registered, new articles are automatically detected and queued for audio generation.
    • Enter the RSS 2.0 feed URL and register it.
    • After registration, the feed is synced approximately every hour.
    • New articles are automatically added as they are published.
    • The feed domain must match the registered website domain.
    Step 4
    Configure Script Template
Customize the tone and speaking style of the AI-generated audio script.
    • Create a template with a name and prompt content.
    • Specify the audio tone (e.g. friendly newscaster, calm narration).
    • Create multiple templates for different article categories.
    • Settings can be changed at any time and take effect immediately.
    Step 5
    Generate Audio
Articles are automatically converted to scripts and then to AI-generated audio.
    • Select an article and a prompt — script and audio are generated in one step.
    • You can also generate the script first, review it, then convert to audio.
    • A single article typically takes 1–3 minutes to convert.
    • Turn on "Deliver" and the audio player appears on your website.
    Step 6
    Install the Player
Add a single script tag to your HTML and the audio player appears on your articles.
    • Copy the integration code from the management console.
    • Place the container where you want the player and add the script.
    • WordPress, Next.js, static HTML and other platforms are supported.
    • Choose from in-article player, sticky player, and other display formats.
    Step 7
    Verify Operation
Open an article page and confirm the player appears correctly.
    • The player appears only for articles with completed audio and delivery enabled.
    • The article URL must match a registered article URL.
    • If the player doesn't appear, check the troubleshooting guides.
    When the Player Appears
The player is displayed only when all of the following conditions are met: (1) audio generation is complete, (2) delivery is enabled, (3) the domain is approved, and (4) the page URL matches a registered article URL.

    Common Questions

    • Player not showing — Make sure the article has completed audio and delivery is enabled. Check that the domain is approved.
    • Audio not generating — Check whether the article was fetched via RSS and whether the prompt is configured correctly.
    • Duplicate players in SPA — Call the SDK's destroy() on page transitions. See the SDK Integration Guide for details.
