    Privacy Policy

    Media Leap, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Company") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of users in "PUBVOICE" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by the Company.

    1. Acquisition of Personal Information

    The Company acquires the following information about Users within the scope necessary for the provision and operation of the Service: (1) information that Users themselves provide when applying for the use of the Service, registering an account, or making inquiries (including corporate name, name, email address, telephone number, address, department, job title, billing information, and the like); (2) information automatically acquired in the course of Users' use of the Service (including access logs, IP addresses, cookie information, device information, browser information, usage history, and the like); and (3) information obtained from payment service providers or other third parties based on the User's consent (including payment status and the like).

    2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

    The Company uses the acquired personal information within the scope of the following purposes: (1) to provide and operate the Service and to bill and collect usage fees; (2) to contact Users regarding the Service and to respond to inquiries and provide support; (3) to improve the quality of the Service and to plan and develop new functions and new services; (4) to conduct questionnaires regarding the Service and to provide information on campaigns, seminars, and the like; (5) to analyze usage of the Service and to create statistical data; (6) to prevent misuse, ensure security, and respond to troubles; and (7) to respond to requests based on laws and regulations or from administrative or judicial authorities.

    3. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

    The Company may use cookies and similar technologies on the Service and related websites. Such technologies are used for purposes including improving User convenience, understanding how the Service is used, and improving functions. Users may choose to refuse cookies by changing the settings of their browser; however, in that case, some functions of the Service may not be available.

    4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases: (1) when required by laws and regulations; (2) when it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User; (3) when it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the User; (4) when it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency or their designee in performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the User may interfere with the performance of such affairs; or (5) when personal information is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger or other reasons.

    5. Supervision of Service Providers

    The Company may, to the extent necessary, provide personal information when outsourcing part of its operations to external service providers. In such cases, the Company will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision of such service providers in accordance with laws and regulations, including by entering into agreements with them regarding the proper handling of personal information.

    6. Security Management of Personal Information

    The Company takes organizational, human, physical, and technical security control measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and to otherwise securely manage personal information. The Company also provides ongoing education and awareness-raising for its employees regarding the importance of protecting personal information.

    7. Joint Use of Personal Information

    The Company may, when necessary, jointly use personal information with its group companies or other parties. In such cases, the Company will separately disclose or notify the scope of joint use, the purposes of joint use, the items of personal information to be jointly used, and the person responsible for managing such jointly used information.

    8. Requests for Disclosure and Other Actions

    Users may request the Company to disclose, correct, add to or delete, suspend the use of, erase, or suspend the provision to third parties of their personal information (collectively, "Disclosure, etc."). Upon receiving a request for Disclosure, etc. from a User, the Company will confirm the identity of the User and respond promptly and within a reasonable scope in accordance with laws and regulations. However, the Company may not be able to comply with all or part of a request for Disclosure, etc. if the Company has no legal obligation to do so or if compliance would unduly harm the rights or interests of other Users.

    9. Personal Information of Minors

    If a User is a minor, the User must obtain the consent of a parent or other legal guardian before using the Service. When acquiring personal information from minors, the Company may, when necessary, confirm whether the consent of the legal guardian has been obtained.

    10. Transfer to Foreign Countries

    In providing the Service, the Company may use cloud services or other means, and may provide personal information to third parties located in foreign countries (including those stipulated in Article 28, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan) or store personal information on servers located in foreign countries. In such cases, the Company will take necessary measures in accordance with laws and regulations, taking into account the systems for the protection of personal information in such foreign countries.

    11. Handling of Anonymously Processed Information and Pseudonymously Processed Information

    The Company may create anonymously processed information or pseudonymously processed information from the acquired information so that individuals cannot be identified, and use such information for purposes such as improving the Service and statistical analysis. In such cases, the Company will take appropriate security control measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

    12. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

    In handling personal information, the Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.

    13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

    The Company may change the contents of this Policy as necessary. The revised Policy shall become effective when it is posted on the website of the Service. However, if changes require the consent of Users under applicable laws and regulations, the Company will obtain the consent of Users by the method prescribed by the Company.

    14. Continuous Improvement

    In order to ensure the appropriate protection of personal information, the Company will make continuous efforts to review and improve this Policy and its personal information protection framework, including by establishing and revising internal rules and inspecting the operational status thereof.
